Perfect Weekend

At Last!

Its here! Its here! Finally...after much cool, damp, miserable weather, spring has arrived. Today, the sun is out and it is glorious. All of the flowers opened instantly this morning.

The weekend is looking to be superb - high sixties to low seventies with plenty of sunshine both days. I definitely want to get out on the bikes...maybe a picnic at the beach. Gah! I'm almost giddy at the thought.

Bring it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the tiniest, briefest glimpse of the sun. And, while the sky is still gray, I do believe it has a brightness to it, the likes of which we haven't seen in these parts in almost a week.

Are the clouds lifting? Will spring really ever come to Jersey this year?

I've Heard a Rumor

...that the yellow, fiery ball of light and warmth (otherwise known as the sun, and sort of a stranger around here lately) may make an appearance by the end of the week. And that temperatures might even climb all the way into the sixties by the weekend.

I'm not holding my breath.
