Quiet.

I've been quiet on the blog front because, well...life has been quiet. Nothing 'blogworthy' I guess.

Sadie is on spring break this week. The poor thing has had miserable weather for most of it (and by poor thing, I mean Evan, who has been home with her). Actually, it has been fine. She's such a good, mellow kid - and truthfully, I think she's just so happy to have some down time that she doesn't seem to care whether they do anything spectacular or not. Yesterday, my mom came and got her and took her out to lunch and to pick out her Passover present (and Eden's). So, that was a nice diversion. I'm off this afternoon and all day tomorrow, and the weather has taken a turn for the better now, so I'm sure we'll spend much of the next two days outside. Abby is going to sleep over tonight, so Sadie's pretty excited.

Other than that, really...not much to report. I am happy to report that I'm picking up my new toy which we will write off as a business expense for Evan our new camera today. I'm not sure if I ever mentioned it here, but our old camera was, in the first place, old (from 2004 - ancient! lol), and in the second place, has never worked quite right since it took a swim in the pool when we went to Florida. So, finally, we'll have a new one (and a sweet one at that!), so I can start updating this blog with pictures again. In fact, given that they're predicting weather in the 70's for the weekend, I'm thinking I'll have some lovely shots to upload soon. Until then...

Dare I Say It?

I'm almost hesitant to write this out, for fear that it will jinx things, but in the last month or so, the girls have really turned a corner in their relationship and have become...if not friends, definitely playmates. It is so awesome. That's not to say there aren't still loads of arguments to referee, and that Sadie doesn't drop Eden in a heartbeat for Abby, but something has definitely changed. They actually play together for long periods of time. I guess we have finally reached that point that people always told me about when I was pregnant with Eden and they said "oh, a playmate for Sadie". It has taken a while to be a reality, but hopefully, it is the start of a wonderful relationship for them.

In fact, tonight, they are having a 'slumber party' and Sadie has invited Eden to sleep over in her room. As I've said before, I love having two of the same gender.
