Pants-off Dance-off

Have you seen this show? Its on Fuse network and Evan and I came across it late one evening. It is...bizarre. Basically, these average people (known as Pancers) dance a strip-tease to a popular music video background. The routine is interspersed with interview clips of them (fully dressed!) and snarky commentary by professional judges. Viewers are encouraged to text in their votes, and the winner gets a cash prize. The dancers are mostly awful. Well, no worse than you or I would probably be, but the difference is that YOU AND I have enough sense not to do something like that (publicly, anway. I mean, I'm just sayin'....).

It is seriously, seriously bizarre. Yet...entertaining. And, upping the bizarro quotient is the fact that it is hosted by Jodi Sweeten. Do you remember her? Stephanie, from Full House. Uh-huh, little Stephanie Tanner is all.grown.up now. In fact, intrigued, I googled her and learned that after her stint on Full House she went on to develop a meth addiction and did time in drug rehab. Anyhoo...she seems to have put that sordid bit of nonsense behind her and is now busy facilitating the pants off. I mean the dance off. You know what I mean. Anyway, check your local listing guide for showing info. You'll probably only be a little sorry you did.
