I miss my mom

My mom and dad are away...have been gone a week. I'm so used to talking to my mom several times a week, and so much has happened this week that I've wanted to talk to her about. I really miss her! We're not the types to "chat" while away, plus she's on a ship in the ocean off the coast of another contintent, so even if I did have the urge to call her cell, I couldn't reach her.

It's funny how when I lived in Boston, we only spoke about once a week, and her being away was usually unnoticed. Now, I'm just itching for her to get back.
