I must be the only person in America, who wasn't glued to the T.V. yesterday, watching coverage of the events at Virginia Tech unfold. It isn't that I didn't care, or wasn't interested. I just couldn't bear to watch or read about it.
I know I hugged my children just a little bit tighter and longer than usual last night, and wondered, as I have many times in the past 4.5 years, what kind of a crazy world I have chosen to bring children into.
