Edited at 8pm: The beach was, surprisingly, glorious! The heat and humidity that were blanketing the areas west of Ocean Avenue was blown away by the most perfect, ocean breeze. We had a good day, and the kids (and Mom) are wiped out. I love me some summer days!

The Heat is On
It is supposed to hit record highs for heat and humidity today in the bayou the Garden State. One of those days when it is best to just stay indoors, I suppose. But, when you've got little ones, staying indoors all day sounds about as much fun as having teeth pulled. So, I think we're going to hit the library for story hour this morning and then, after lunch, brave 'the elements' and go down to the beach.
