When I was about Sadie's age, my family lived for a little while in Edinburgh. I have some very fuzzy memories of our time there - mostly just flashes of images and sensations. I have always wanted to go back and make my abstract memories more tangible.
I found this site that specializes in hotel accommodation in the UK. What I really like about it is that you can focus on specific areas, set a budget and hopefully, book exactly what you are looking for.
They're running a number of online specials right now...who knows? Maybe I will get back to Scotland and get to relive my days there, after all.
